When price extends significantly above recent highs (150%+ of recent range), it often indicates exhaustion. These are potential reversal or pullback zones where selling pressure may emerge.

How to use extreme levels effectively

Strategy 1: Reversal Trading

When price reaches 200%+ extreme extensions:
