// what it is

Every check.
One panel.

A breakout continuation trade has many moving parts. You need range headroom, structure confirmation, momentum alignment, trend support, and a clean entry bias — all at once. The Breakout Continuation Checklist reads every one of those factors simultaneously and displays them on a single real-time panel, updated on every tick.

At the top of the panel, the Trade Focus output synthesises everything into a single call: Buy Only, Buy Dip, Sell Only, Sell Rally, or Waiting. Below it, every contributing factor is visible with a live value, timer, and pip distance — so you understand exactly what the market is doing across all timeframes.

stat sheet.

01
ADR
Average Daily Range

Blended multi-period ADR shows total daily range in pips. Live ADR Today label tracks how many pips the current day has already covered and what percentage of the full ADR that represents — so you know exactly how much range headroom remains for a continuation move.

02
Fibonacci
Fibonacci Zone Detection

Calculates Fibonacci levels from the prior period's high and low on your chosen timeframe. Detects the exact zone price is in — above 100% (breakout up), between any standard retracement level, or below 0% (breakout down) — and shows an elapsed timer for how long price has been in that zone.

03
RSI
RSI + Moving Average

Tracks RSI position above or below 50 and above or below its configurable MA. Four persistent timers record exactly how long each state has been active. Configurable timeframe, length, MA window, overbought and oversold levels.

04
Stochastic
Stochastic K/D Cross

Monitors %K vs %D relationship with a configurable above-level threshold. Shows whether K is above or below D with a timer. An unstable state activates when K crossed D within the last 30 minutes — warning you the signal may be fresh. Configurable period, slowing, and MA method.

05
EMA Stack
Dual EMA Filter

Two fully independent EMA filters (default EMA20 and EMA50). Each shows above/below state, distance in pips, and an elapsed timer. The unstable state activates when price crossed the EMA within the last 30 minutes. Periods and timeframes are freely configurable.

06
Open Levels
Session & Period Opens

Tracks above/below state, pip distance, and elapsed timer for: Day Open, Week Open, Month Open, Monday Open, Year Open, Asia Session Open, London Session Open, and New York Session Open. Each level highlights when price crosses it, giving instant visual confirmation of bias relative to each period's opening price.

07
HOD / LOD
High & Low of Day

Tracks today's High of Day and Low of Day with session labels (Asia/London/NY), pip distance from current price, and cross timers. Highlighted borders activate on the HOD/LOD row when price is close to the level. HOD and LOD distances feed the Momentum Bar calculations.

08
Momentum Bar
HOD vs LOD Dominance

A segmented bar shows which side has dominant pip distance — the LOD move (buy momentum) or the HOD move (sell momentum). When dominance switches, the bar drains and refills in the new direction. A minimum pip threshold filters out noise. The Tug-of-War split bar shows the live pip ratio. The Dominance Heat Strip records the last 10 snapshots.

09
Trade Focus
The Synthesis Signal

The headline output of the BCC panel. Reads multiple market structure conditions simultaneously and produces one of five states: Buy Only, Buy Dip, Sell Only, Sell Rally, or Waiting. Each state carries a distinct trading implication — from highest-conviction directional trades to stand-aside periods. A persistent timer shows how long the current state has been active.

// trade focus outputs

Five outputs.
One decision.

The Trade Focus signal synthesises multiple market conditions into a single, actionable output. Each state has a distinct meaning that tells you exactly how to approach the current session.

Output What it means
BUY ONLY Full bullish alignment across all tracked conditions. Highest-probability long setup — trade in the direction of the dominant flow.
BUY DIP Bullish bias is confirmed at the higher level but one condition is lagging. Look for a pullback entry — buy the dip rather than chasing strength.
SELL ONLY Full bearish alignment across all tracked conditions. Highest-probability short setup — trade in the direction of the dominant flow.
SELL RALLY Bearish bias is confirmed at the higher level but one condition is bouncing. Look for a counter-move entry — sell into the rally rather than chasing weakness.
WAITING Conditions are not aligned. No high-probability directional edge exists. Stand aside and wait for confluence to develop.

Frequently asked.

The BCC is a standalone MT5 indicator that checks every confluence factor needed for a breakout continuation trade in real time — ADR coverage, Fibonacci zone, RSI, Stochastic, dual EMA stack, session opens, period opens, HOD/LOD — and outputs a single Trade Focus signal: Buy Only, Buy Dip, Sell Only, Sell Rally, or Waiting. All factors display on one panel, updated on every tick.

Trade Focus synthesises multiple market structure conditions into one output. Buy Only is the strongest bullish state — all tracked conditions align. Buy Dip means the dominant bias is bullish but one condition is lagging, signalling a pullback entry opportunity. Sell Only and Sell Rally are the bearish equivalents. Waiting activates when conditions are mixed and no clear directional edge exists.

Yes. All elapsed timers — Fibonacci zone, RSI states, Stochastic cross, EMA cross, Trade Focus state, and session/period open timers — are stored in MT5 GlobalVariables and restored on every indicator reload. They continue from where they left off after a timeframe switch, settings change, or indicator recompile.

The Momentum Bar shows which side has dominant pip distance — the LOD move (buy momentum) or the HOD move (sell momentum). Filled segments represent the dominant side's pip coverage as a proportion of ADR. When dominance switches, the bar drains before refilling in the new direction. The Tug-of-War bar shows the live pip ratio and the Dominance Heat Strip records the last 10 dominance snapshots.

Yes. The Input_Symbol setting lets you specify any MT5 symbol to analyse. Leave it blank to use the chart's own symbol. This lets you run the BCC on a dedicated window while monitoring a different instrument, or run multiple instances each pointed at a different pair.

Two fully independent EMA filters: EMA1 (default period 20) and EMA2 (default period 50). Each has its own timeframe, color scheme for above/below/unstable states, and elapsed timer. The unstable state activates when price crossed the EMA within the last 30 minutes. Periods and timeframes are freely configurable.

Yes. The BCC is a display-only indicator — it places no trades and sends no orders. It is fully compatible with MetaTrader 5 prop firm platforms including FTMO and Hola Prime. Display indicators with no trade execution are universally permitted.

Every check.
One signal.

Drop the Breakout Continuation Checklist onto any MT5 chart and get every confluence factor live — with a Trade Focus signal that synthesises it all into one clear call.
